''Fireflies'' Scrap Quilt

My fabric scrap cabinet refused to close… so I guess it was time to make a scrap quilt 😂
I actually love working on scrap projects, it’s like giving fabric a second chance. But most of the ideas I see online don’t quite feel like me. So I’d love to share my own approach to using up fabric scraps.
These shapes remind me of broken glass that somehow came together into a beautiful mosaic… and then turned into a little fairytale scene.
I truly enjoyed creating this quilt. It’s not the fastest method, and once again I found myself working with curved lines (which definitely makes things more challenging), but I’m really happy with the result!
