This is my mom Sis Gane She’s currently here with me in China on her very first trip abroad. When her and my dad scrambled and took me on my very first trip abroad to Costa Rica in 2008 she would always say: “Nathi soze sifike sibone phesheya” which translates to “We too will get to travel overseas and see it with our own two eyes”. She only thought she was dreaming but it definitely didn’t fall on deaf ears . Sis Gane your borders were shut in your time but what they did when they shut them up was leave me with spare keys to every single border for every single country on this universe to console you. I can finally flip the globe at any given point and teleport wherever my finger lands just like I had visualized and asked . I am beyond thankful for God’s favor over my life. Every single missed opportunity you will get to live vicariously through me.

Success is in these tiny emotions we feel when we are giving from the very little we have. Success is that sense of joy that times like these bring. Success is tiny differences that add up to big differences. Success is simply a feeling and my name Siphumelele means exactly that “We Have Succeeded” .
