Digging Deep in 2018 With The Minelab GPX 4500. I just returned from one of the most memorable trips I've had Diggin' in Virginia also known as DIV. This was DIV 42 and a place that has been metal detected numerous times. Buy it didn't matter. The relics were there and we walked over them which resulted in numerous recoveries. The machine of choice for this metal detecting adventure was the Minelab GPX 4500. After digging some of my targets well over 10 inches deep, I fully understand the depth this machine is capable of getting which makes it the top metal detector of choice for many DIVers.
