🏅 Two Indian-origin Public Health Scientists Received South Africa's Highest Civilian Honour: Order of Mapungubwe

🔹 Indian-origin scientists Professor Salim Abdool Karim and Professor Keertan Dheda received South Africa’s highest civilian honour, the Order of Mapungubwe.
🔹 President Cyril Ramaphosa conferred the awards during a ceremony held in Pretoria on 20 May 2026.
