FA Cup Round 5 goals (1991-92)

FA Cup 5th round weekend so a look back 22 years to the same weekend in 1991-92 with action from all eight matches on February 15th and 16th. Many of the leading clubs of the time such as title chasing Leeds and Manchester United, holders Spurs and reigning league champions Arsenal had already been knocked out, giving a decent shout of cup glory to clubs outside the top-flight. Highlights of the weekend include 3rd Division Bolton coming back from 2-0 down to draw with 1st Division Southampton, cup favourites Liverpool surviving with a 0-0 draw at Ipswich, eventual finalists Sunderland drawing with West Ham and Aston Villa being pushed hard by Swindon in the live Sunday match but winning 2-1 (incidentally like this season the 5th round took place in the middle of the Winter Olympics, with Barry Davies noticeably absent from football commentary duties as a result).
