Lionel Messi vs Pele Career Comparison / Match, Goals, Skills, Awards, Income, Club, Biography

Everyone has their own opinion. Some consider Pele as God of Football while some consider Messi as the Greatest of all time.

One thing I realised in past few years while watching football is that statistics can never tell how a player performed in a game. Yes it could tell us how effective or ineffective he/she was, but it could never tell you the whole story.

For me Messi is the Greatest Of All Time. Anybody could counter me with statistics that Pele has 3 WCs, Cristiano has an international trophy or Maradona won a WC on his own or with any numerical data, but for me and for people who (arguably) understands football knows that what Messi does whole season week in week out bar one or two games cannot be described in words.
