Hey everybody, it's holiday season. That means a lot of different things to a lot of different people. It has meant different things to us in the past, but let me tell you how we're thinking about it this year. We're approaching this holiday season with the attitude that the "season of giving" actually means that we're supposed to give to those in need, and not just to friends, family, and other loved ones. You see, there are a lot of people and causes out there that NEED help, and this year, we're going to try my best to give to those in need. Also, We're going to offer to help you do so as well.

I'll explain the details in the rest of this video, but for those of you with short attention spans, here's what you need to know: Click on the link in the description and then donate. Clawhammer Supply will match every dollar donated between now and December 30th, 2013 up to a total of $3000 and we won't keep a single penny. Alright, we've identified 3 causes and organizations we believe are worthy of charitable giving this holiday season:

The first cause will focus on people and the organization we'll give to is the Wounded Warrior Project. This organization exists solely to help service members that have incurred physical or mental injury, illness or wounds. In recent years, nearly 7000 soldiers have died, 52,000 have been wounded, 320,000 have suffered traumatic brain injuries, and 400,000 have been impacted with the mentally debilitating condition of post traumatic stress disorder. The men and women who have sacrificed for us deserve as much continuing support as we can possibly give them. The Wounded Warrior Project is a great organization. They help take care of our wounded soldiers and we think they are worthy of our support.

The second charitable cause we'll focus on is children and the organization we'll give to is No Kid Hungry. Listen, more than 16 million kids in america live in households that struggle to put food on the table. That's roughly 22% of the children in this country. That's no good. As Americans, we can do better. This organization focuses on making sure that one of the most important basic needs of children is met. It's simple, No Kid Hungry works to connect needy children with good food.

The third charitable cause we'll focus on is the environment and the organization we'll give to is the American Beekeeping Federation. You've probably at least heard something about the fact that honey bees are dying off at an alarming rate around the world due to something called Colony Collapse Disorder. This is important for 2 reasons. First, bees pollinate 1/3 of the food we eat. Without bees, a lot of the fruits an vegetables we eat on a regular basis will be much, much harder to grow. Second, bees could very well be a modern day "canary in the coalmine" and a warning sign for what could happen to other species and even humans if we don't figure out what is going on here. As far as environmental issues go, We think this one is very important. The American Beekeeping Federation vets and sponsors projects focused on researching Colony Collapse Disorder and we believe this organization is worthy of our support.

We've done the research and have confirmed that these organizations do good work. Additionally, your donation will be tax deductible. As I mentioned, Clawhammer Supply will match all funds donated, up to a total $3,000 and every penny we receive will be donated. We aren't going to keep anything. That means, if you donate $25 bucks, we'll match that donation and give a total of $50. However, we're only going to be offering matching funds until December 30th of 2013, so donate now! On December, 31st we'll make the donation and then will give everyone an update just after the first of the year.
