#148 Make E-commerce Website in Laravel 8 | Resolve Bugs & Make Changes at Cart/Checkout Pages
In Part-148 of Advance E-commerce series, we will work on few important points.
We will update cart and checkout pages to resolve few bugs and make some changes.
1) Update cart_items.blade.php :-
Discount is not updating when we update product quantity in shopping cart.
So we will update Category/Product Discount column in shopping cart to show updated discount after multiply with product quantity every time when quantity updates.
2) Update checkout function :-
We able to checkout without adding products in cart so we will add condition in checkout function at ProductsController to show error message like "Shopping Cart is empty! Please add products to checkout" if user tries to checkout without adding products in cart.
3) Update detail.blade.php file :-
