Aug 6, 2023 - Soldiers from Charlie Company, 3rd Battalion, Royal Australian Regiment conduct ann air mobile operation in support of Battle Group Eagle’s Armoured Battle Run. The soldiers will raid a known enemy mortar position as a preliminary action to enable Battle Group Eagle to maintain momentum in their advance.

Aug 9, 2023 - Soldiers assigned to 3rd Battalion, 187th Infantry Battalion (Iron Rakkasans), 3rd Brigade, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) conducted platoon live fire training as part of Operation Lethal Eagle III (OLE 3) at Fort Campbell, Ky., August 7-9, 2023.

Operation Lethal Eagle III is a pre-planned training exercise to build soldier and unit lethality within the world’s premier air-assault division. The exercise is a 21-day training event in dispersed locations across Tennessee and Kentucky designed to build and sustain readiness across multiple warfighting functions.

Aug 8, 2023 - U.S. Marines with 2nd Air Delivery (AD) Platoon, 2nd Landing Support Battalion, 2nd Marine Logistics Group and 2nd Reconnaissance Battalion (Recon BN), 2nd Marine Division conduct a static-line jump from a V-22 Osprey on Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. 2nd AD Platoon and 2nd Recon BN trained to maintain proficiency in airborne operations and familiarization with air delivery systems.

*Australian Army Live-Fire Accuracy Screening Test – 04:55*
Aug 4, 2023 - The Australian Army’s 2nd Cavalry Regiment and Comanche Company, 4th battalion, 6th Infantry Regiment conducted an orders brief and a live-fire accuracy screening test in preparation for a combined arms live fire exercise at the Townsville Field Training Area in Queensland, Australia. Comanche Company will conduct the CALFX with the Australian Army’s 2nd Cavalry Regiment, during which platoons from each will be integrated within their formations, demonstrating the interoperability between our two armies.

*Hawaii Air National Guard Airlifts Fire Department Resources to Maui – 06:09*
Aug 10, 2023 - Honolulu Fire Department vehicles and personnel were transported by a C-17 Globemaster III operated by members of the 204th Airlift Squadron from Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam to Kahului Airport, Maui. The Hawaii Air National Guard Airmen transported 37 members of the HFD, four vehicles and disaster-relief cargo to aid communities impacted by several wildfires. The Hawaii Air National Guard loadmasters and maintenance specialists offloaded supplies from the C-17 Globemaster III at Kahului Airport.
