Minnesota in January (Crazy Cold!) | Fun outside in the Twin Cities + the BEST FOOD in MINNEAPOLIS!

Join us as we spend a day exploring the Twin Cities! We eat some of the best food in Minneapolis, and try to avoid freezing in the late January weather!

On this episode of Mapping It, we explore the Twin Cities in January! We start our day at Lake Harriet, checking out the art shanty project and a cool snow fort on Lake Harriet. For breakfast, we head to Isles Bun and Coffee and order a massive cinnamon roll! We head over to the MN State Fair grounds for some winter snow sculpting. After getting very cold outside, we visit the conservatory at Como Zoo to explore their indoor gardens and warm up a bit. We head to a very popular food hall in Minneapolis for lunch: The Market at Malcolm Yards and we have an incredible Korean Chicken sandwich, charcuterie and dosa! We spend the afternoon skating at a neighborhood park in Minneapolis and finish our day trying four tasty pizzas from Mesa Pizza. It was so much fun!

This video was filmed in 2023.
