Freeze A Yankee

The Folkel Minority was a folk/country/comedy quartet whose members were all part of the Vocal Majority Chorus. They added variety to our shows and performances in the 1970s and early 1980s. This song, written by lead singer Bob Arnold, was just a "silly, redneck song" about the energy crisis around 1979. It became the top-selling single in Dallas that summer and sold over 100,000 copies.
