Natalie Cole (Died RIP) Introduces Aretha Franklin

Natalie Cole emotional introduction brought the Los Angeles theater audience high anticipation for the Queen Of Soul. Aretha Franklin performed a special tribute for the Arista Records 25th Anniversary Celebration in 2000.

Aretha Franklin's January 1, 2016 reaction to the death of Natalie Cole: "I am sorry to hear about Natalie Cole's passing. I had to hold back the tears. I know how hard she fought. She fought for so long. She was one of the greatest singers of our time. She represented the Cole legend of excellence and class quite well."
