In my 20s, I used to force God —
“Give me this, I want that, I know what’s best.”

And strangely, I often received what I asked for.

But in 2005, when my daughter was just 1.5 months old, everything changed.
I was desperately searching for a home in a particular area… and couldn’t find one. I was frustrated, confused, and complaining to God.

Then the floods came.
The exact area I was chasing — was destroyed.

That day, I learned a lesson that changed my life forever:
God always listens, but He answers in ways that protect us.

Since then, I still share my wishes with Him…
But I always end with:
“You know better.”
