Ghana Legalizes Okada 🚨

Transport Minister Joseph Bukari Nikpe has directed the DVLA to start registering and licensing motorbikes for commercial use!

This move aims to improve road safety and reduce motorbike-related accidents. 🚦 But here’s the twist— the NDC already promised this in their campaign! 🤔

Currently, Ghana’s Road Traffic Regulations prohibit commercial motorbike use, but enforcement has been weak. Now, the Minister says laws will be revised to accommodate Okada riders, ensuring proper training and licensing.

And that's not all—he’s also pledging to tackle unpaid salaries and improve staff welfare in the Transport Ministry.
