Lunch time and spelling time with Eli

Pasta day! 😍 With picky eaters like Eli, you will need all the patience and creative tricks under your sleeve so your child would finish his/her meal.
Whenever my new co-mommies see a picture of my son, the first thing they notice is Eli’s physique. They’re amazed that my toddler is not skinny as most of the toddlers they know or have.
And i agree with them that toddlers can be so challenging when fed.
So this is a few tips i have when feeding a toddler:

Distraction! One thing i do is quiz him while he eats so he would not grow tired of eating before he even finishes his food but not to the extent that he forgets about the food. And also it gives us time to review the lessons we had the night before.

And of course, PRIZE! Nothing else makes little kids go crazy, like doughnuts!
Every now and then reward your kids with their favorite food So they will be reminded that food should be enjoyed too.
