1964 ES-335 played by Tyler Bryant

Tyler Bryant plays one of the best sounding examples of a PAF loaded ES-335 to come through our shop! The story of this guitar is not 100% clear however we believe that a 1959 ES-335 was sent back to the factory, probably in late'64 and had the body and neck replaced. Some of the parts on the '59 migrated to new guitar including the pickguard, bridge, tailpiece and a set of hand wound PAFs with long magnets. The guitar then received a chrome bridge pickup cover, bridge adjustment knobs, and tailpiece studs that all date 1965. The guitar also has a 1965 "335-12" sticker under the original 1959 sticker.
