The F-86 is the fighter pilot's fighter... and I had a chance to fly a very unique aircraft; an RCAF Golden Hawk painted jet from Vintage Wings of Canada. Join me as I walk you through the solo first flight, giving insights into this rare jet, from starting the engine, ground handling, stall characteristics to aerobatics. I see how this jet holds a special place for all fighter pilots who flew it, during the Korean War, the Cold War and for airshow flying.
