WRF HEAVY 160 Floor-type Horizontal Boring Milling Machine - a mass of more than 130 tons of metal and already it has its proud owner. This machine is placed at our customer Buzuluk, Czech Republic. It is stunning to look at and does the job perfectly. Travel of the column in X-axis is 8.6 meters, vertical travel of headstock in Y-axis is 4 meters and ram stroke in Z-axis is 1.5 meters, plus horizontal spindle travel in W-axis of 1 meter. Headstock can be equipped with FERMAT fully automatic right-angle milling head (plus one manual head) and the rotary table has been modified to continuous milling in B-axis. Load capacity of the table is 50 tons and its travel in V-axis is 1.6 meters. To make the production cycle more fluent, the machine is equipped with automatic tool changer for 60 tools and the cabin moves 1 meter in horizontal and 2.8 meter in vertical direction to keep machining under the watchful eye of the operator.
