ALLACCESS with Jim Asker on #CMchat+

Country Music Editor of AllAccess.com Jim Asker joined Country Music Chat Plus ~ #CMchat+ on Google Wednesday September 19.

Jim joined AllAccess, the World's Largest Music & Radio Industry Community in 2001 when the Nashville office was opened and has been there ever since. Jim is currently finishing up a Master's Degree program at Austin Peay and should graduate (hopefully) before the end of '08, with a Master's degree in communications. Some of Jim's hobbies include running and tennis. During Jim's radio Career he was nominated as Billboard Programmer of the year and he won the Gavin Report Programmer of the year award three years in a row while at WFLS/Fredericksburg- 1990, 1991 and 1992.He has served on the Agenda Committee for Country Radio Seminar for over 10-years and also serves on the Agenda Committee for Conclave.

We discuss what's going at ALLACCESS, what's going on with Radio, advice for people who are new radio and got to know Jim better.
Jim, a "Cancer survivor, cool guy, runner, monster fundraiser and technology impaired writer" is trying to raise money to cure Cancer and doing a great job so far. Team in Training has raised over a billion dollars and funded over 37 drugs from the money they have raised.
