The green or play area covers a total of 45 hectares, with a variety of plants indigenous to the area covering the rest of the course. The front nine of the Mar Menor Golf Course, designed by David Thomas, is par 37. The back nine, designed by Nicklaus Design, are par 35. The clubhouse is located at the 5* Intercontinental Mar Menor Golf Resort & Spa.
