Night vision cameras and external IR sources/illuminators

Infrared illuminators will work great with most IR night vision cameras; however some cameras will only “see” some glow and no useful illumination. This video demonstrates the principles of IR night vision and the reason why outside infrared illuminators will not work with some night vision cameras, specifically Foscam cameras.
