Advances in WEC Dynamics and Controls

Researchers at Sandia National Laboratories are working to improve the way that wave energy converters (WECs) and their control systems are designed, tested, and analyzed. Recent findings demonstrate the ability of predictionless controllers to provide large increases in power capture, while also limiting loading. Related resources:
