After a decade working in salons and as a mobile beautician, Sara was ready to open a space of her own, one that welcomes everyone, especially those who often feel out of place in traditional salon environments. But renovating the space and creating an accessible, calming environment cost more than expected.

• Renovate Nova Salon to an accessible, inclusive standard
• Create six new jobs for local residents
• Offer a wide range of services, from brow lamination and colour treatments to bespoke facials
