BMW Brought The Not-A-218i Gran Coupe To Our Office | #NewsUpdate

Ahead of an official launch, BMW Group Malaysia has come up with a really innovative way to tease its upcoming model, which they won't confirm (but we'll guess) as the BMW 218i Gran Coupe in M-Sport guise. With a strict warning that the doors are locked and that we can't take a look at the interior any further than through the windows, and only about 10-minutes to film & photograph, we had to rush this.

We apologise now for the noise AND for the rain – this is why we never film right outside our office.

The camo on the cars were designed by Changgih Designs and KANOE, both local brands that have stepped up to the plate to reduce the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in their own way.

Changgih was founded by two new, passionate mothrs from Sabah who wanted to create crafts for their children inspired to help mothers from Sabahan villages with vocational training and job opportunities. During the Pandemic, Changgih rallied other local Sabahan businesses to start a fundraiser to help the community. They dedicated funds from their 'Give10toSabah' programme, where 10% of proceeds from sales are set aside to purchase food bundles for families in need.

Kanoe is a homegrown brand that sets out to promote better living throughout their design & production process, ensuring that everyone involved end-to-end benefit from it. Kanoe's products are made from natural fibre and designed in-house. Kanoe advocates zero-waste ethical wear as they stay driven in creating more uniquely-designed wearable, parallel with the times, such as batik face masks.
