Need to Clear Your Head? Plant Flowers!

Not complaining but my phone and laptop are a big part of my day. Late afternoon early evening I need something to clear my head and slow down and I have just the answer, flowers. I am not a botanist or a horticulturist just a guy that likes to plant flowers, I fertilize, trim, pull weeds around our patio. A few years ago, Michelle got into Amaryllis they are the ones in the picture. Two neighbors gave her a start with a few then and I sold a house that had a ton of them, I asked the new owner if we could separate the bulbs and thin them out and they agreed so we were able to get a few dozen bulbs. Amaryllis are not cheap the bulbs cost between $7 to $12 dollars each but once you start you can divide the baby bulbs and plant them in a new location. We moved all our Amaryllis a few months ago as we rearranged our patio and now need to separate them after they bloom.

Back to clearing my head, in the picture of our Amaryllis you might notice two blue rocking chairs and a side table. You can imagine what happens there after fiddling with the flowers!
