RAW scene footage: North Olden Ave fatal 3 alarm fire

A devastating three-alarm fire broke out just before 11:00 p.m. Friday on the 1200 block of North Olden Avenue September 20, claiming the life of an 18-year-old Trenton High School student and leaving more than 20 residents without homes.

The fire quickly escalated as flames spread across the row of connected houses. Seven homes were heavily damaged, and the intense response drew fire departments from across Mercer County, alongside the Trenton Fire Department. Crews battled the blaze for hours, deploying ladder trucks and multiple hose lines under heavy smoke.

City officials confirmed four victims:

An 18-year-old male Trenton High School student was killed.
Two others are in stable condition.
One victim remains in critical condition.
In total, 22 residents were displaced, with the American Red Cross assisting families with emergency housing and support.
