Calculating Sell Through Percentage in Retail

In this video I go over how to calculate sell in and sell through in retail.

Calculating sell-through in retail is one of the most important metrics you can track in fashion retail as a wholesaler or buyer as it is the metric that shows the brand or style's rate of sale as compared other vendors.

At a simple level sell through is calculated based on the equation below:

Sell through % = Units sold / Units received

There is another metric call "sell in" that is the amount that is sold into or brought in buy a retailer as compared to sell through which is the ratio of sold product compared to total product received.
