REHAU Helix Probe installation

REHAU's innovative Helix probe was designed as a cost-effective alternative to boreholes and horizontal collectors for ground source heat pumps. Each Helix is 40m of 25mm RAUGEO PE-Xa pipe and can extract up to 700W/probe. The pipe is made of high quality PE-Xa material to give improved mechanical properties over standard PE 100 material (which requires sand to backfill). The joints are made using the renowned Everloc leakproof compression sleeve system, which has been installed over half a billion times worldwide. Helix probes are installed at depths up to 5m and each is extended to 3m long on site.
