"Hi I’m Claire Ray and I’m Dermablend’s Brand ambassador, today I’m going to show you how to get flawless skin in 5 simple steps."

"The first step is to prep your skin. You need to exfoliate. This is going to remove any dry, dead skin cells and give you a lovely, smooth base. Then you want to cleanse and tone to remove any excess oil and then moisturise. Allow five minutes for your moisturiser to set in before you actually start your application."

"The next step is to find your correct shade. The best place to try it is on the jawline. Your perfect shade will simply disappear as you start to blend. As you can see that is straight away, going into the skin. When you apply the foundation, apply about a ten pence piece size so you’re not applying too much. I like to start in the center of the face and work towards the hairline. What s great about this foundation is it gives you amazing coverage and it’s extremely easy to blend."

"I like to apply with a brush as I find you get a more airbrushed finish, but you can also get around the nose and the eyes really easily. Don’t be frightened about using your fingertips as well. The heat from your hand will help melt the foundation into the skin so it looks like a second skin."
"A little tip is to apply your foundation in as natural light as possible. It really helps with the application and you can make sure your foundation isn’t streaky."
"Once you’ve applied your foundation, I like to mix a concealer with a tiny bit of foundation, and then go back and see if there are any dark circles or blemishes that need extra attention. Once again, blend with your finger, the heat just helps it melt into the skin. When you apply your concealer, you want to press it in so it becomes a second skin."

"The next step is to tissue off any oils or moisture from the skin. This helps you with your application when you apply the powder. Patting the skin, as I don’t want to disturb the foundation or concealer, it just absorbs any oils."
"The final step is to apply your setting powder. This is going to make your foundation smudge and water resistant for up to 16 hours. Any areas of shine, very gently applying, just pressing it on the skin."
