Ingredients for gesso:
French Chalk (also called whiting or calcium carbonate)
PVA Glue
Titanium white pigment or acrylic paint
Water

Extra ingredient for turning the gesso into watercolour ground:
Bicarbonate Soda (also called bicarb soda or bread soda)
