Son of Man - Jesus the Messiah Ep. 6 - Are You the Christ?

Jesus combines the language of Daniel and the Psalms and makes a direct claim to be the Son of Man, the Messiah. "Again the high priest asked him, 'Are you the Christ, the Son of the Blessed One?' 'I am,' said Jesus. 'And you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Might One..." Mark 14:60-64

Jesus called himself "Son of Man" showing his humanness along with his divinity. Muslims often contend that because Jesus used this term for himself that he was admitting that he was not divine.

But the term Son of Man was very familiar to the Jewish people of his day because it was the term used for the Messiah throughout the Old Testament. By using the name Son of Man, Jesus made it clear that he is divine and is the Messiah of the Jews, the Savior of the World.
