Adaptation of this Galician classic, lulaby style.
"It seems I've passed out in a corner of this tavern with my mug still in hand, just to be awoken by a little bird on the small window next to me. She was excited and said she wants to pass a melody she's just learnt from a donkey that was making her way to the mill. So i took a paper stripe and the music box from under my hat and started writing down what this beautiful little friend was whispering in my ear.

It took me very long, the sun has come and gone again, same as the rain, and it is now at the late hours before dawn that I have written my last note down as I see the little bird flying away.

Many folks around have passed out, some snorring comes up here and there, and as the last tune has left a longer break and silence in the air, it might be time for dreams and for a lullaby... which I've already realised it is a Galician song that I've heard before... in a different time, in a different realm.."
