36 years of EPCOT | A look back at opening year 1982! - WOM 320

October 1st, 1982 Epcot Center opened its gates to the public and history was made. This was the second theme park to open at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. The park opened with a new Disney way to both learn and have fun while enjoying the attractions. The Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow (E.P.C.O.T) was way different than Walt Disney's original idea but it was a smash hit within the World! Opening attractions included: Spaceship Earth, The Land, Communicore, Journey into Imagination, World of Motion and The World Showcase. Let's travel back to the opening year of EPCOT CENTER and take a closer look at exactly what the park looked like.
