148' feet deep U.S.S. Emmons Wreck SCUBA Dive Okinawa Japan GoPro Hero 2 HD
The U.S.S. Emmons was an American warship that was hit by five kamikaze planes in April 1945 and later sank. She was discovered in 2001 and is now open to divers. The wreck of the Emmons lies off northern Okinawa Japan, beyond Nago at Kouri Island in 148" feet of water. 57 sailors died defending her and the wreck is classified as a war grave, therefore no wreck penetration is allowed. This dive was done on one aluminum 80 tank. Video was shot with my GoPro Hero 2 in a backscatter glass housing. Hit like if you enjoyed, and thanks for watching.
