Enoch and Elijah are bound to return to earth in the end of days, being armed with divine signs and miracles, to engage in battle with Antichrist and to be slain in Jerusalem to be taken to heaven after 3,5 days. This is witnessed in chapter 20 of the Gospel of Nicodemus:

Christ delivers Adam to Michael the archangel. They meet Enoch and Elijah in heaven:

"2. And two very ancient men met them, and were asked by the saints, Who are ye, who have not yet been with us in hell, and have had your bodies placed in Paradise?

3. One of them answering, said, I am Enoch, who was translated by the word of God: and this man who is with me, is Elijah the Tishbite, who was translated in a fiery chariot.

4. Here we have hitherto been, and have not tasted death, but are now about to return at the coming of Antichrist, being armed with divine signs and miracles, to engage with him in battle, and to be slain by him at Jerusalem, and to be taken up alive again into the clouds, after 3 days and a half."

DEATH AND BURIAL OF ADAM (930 YEARS OLD) THE FIRST MAN (02:52) :

14 And it was in the fifty-sixth year of the life of Lamech when Adam died; nine hundred and thirty years old was he at his death, and his two sons, with Enoch and Methuselah his son, buried him with great pomp, as at the burial of kings, in the cave which God had told him.

15 And in that place all the sons of men made a great mourning and weeping on account of Adam; it has therefore become a custom among the sons of men to this day.

16 And Adam died because he ate of the tree of knowledge; he and his children after him, as the Lord God had spoken.

17 And it was in the year of Adam's death which was the two hundred and forty-third year of the reign of Enoch, in that time Enoch resolved to separate himself from the sons of men and to secret himself as at first in order to serve the Lord.

GODLIKE AWE WAS SEATED UPON ENOCH´S COUNTENANCE, NO MAN COULD LOOK AT HIM , FEARING HE MIGHT BE PUNISHED AND DIE (04:22):

20 And he did in this manner for many years, and he afterward concealed himself for 6 days, and appeared to his people 1 day in 7; and after that once in a month, and then once in a year, until all the kings, princes and sons of men sought for him, and desired again to see the face of Enoch, and to hear his word; but they could not, as all the sons of men were greatly afraid of Enoch, and they feared to approach him on account of the Godlike awe that was seated upon his countenance; therefore no man could look at him, fearing he might be punished and die..."
