Joan Rivers early comedy and meets Vince Edwards Ben Casey

1966: Joan had probably just released her first album, "Mr. Phyllis" (the title bit was about her hairdresser) when she offered this stand-up routine. Toward the end, host Vince Edwards shares some gags. Vince, who put out a nice album of standards in his "Ben Casey" days, was a good singer and hosted "Hollywood Palace" twice in 1966. He went on to guest on a number of comedy and variety shows (Dean Martin, Engelbert Humperdinck, Merv Griffin, Joey Bishop, Mike Douglas, Carol Burnett etc.)
