Las Vegas was not built because of surplus of resources
Businesses are not created because of abundance of resources
Entrepreneur-dreams bigger than resources
Clearly there is a minimum… so many obstacles that no time or freedom to build, just survival
If an animal is hungry, the animal has 1 problem … if the animal is not hungry = zero problems; for a human being when a human is not hungry, a human being has many, many problems.
Overprotective-removing the factors of unhappiness does not create happiness
removing obstacles does not create joy and fulfillment
Mentors- to navigate the uncertainty and freedom of today; freedom is hard
Anti fragile - protect us from small discomforts and we become weak… environment used to supply variation… but we now control it
