2 reds and a dead trolling motor

Left out of Matlacha and ran all the way up to fish Gasparilla Sound.

The day started rough, I was thinking I picked the wrong spot to fish. I saw lost of bait jumping and mullet milling around So I was confused as to why nothing was hitting my offerings.

I started off with the Moonwalker and then finally it seemed like a light switch was flipped.....cast after cast NADA,..then BOOM...red and a trout almost back to back.

Top water seemed to die out so I switched to the Slam shady jerk shad and BOOM another red.

The day definitely took a turn for the better until my trolling motor crapped out!!!!!

I was cutting across the flat to fish another set of islands when she just QUIT and displayed " motor error".

Everything I found points to it being a failed motherboard, But I don't feel like fixing it....so I bough a new one.
