OceanGate: Back To Titanic

This documentary was utter trash (which is why I've pared it down to under 6 minutes) - with the narration and people on-screen constantly overhyping the importance of just about everything they did: saying over and over that nobody had seen the wreck in 15 years… when RMS Titanic, Inc. ran expeditions to Titanic in 2010 and 2012

They also misrepresented their final discovery, calling a mangled bit of hull plating with a porthole the “Guggenheim Stateroom” when A) the bottom of the Atlantic is littered with such pieces from Titanic’s hull, and B) what they were really looking for was 2 - 3 decks of Titanic’s superstructure that came down in basically one piece… which has been noted by other expeditions but never filmed due to its distance from the main wreck sections

But, I suppose the worst thing about OceanGate’s footage is that it’s like watching somebody’s touristy home video - mostly due to the submersible’s design that puts the cameras at the periphery of what the sub is pointed at, making the footage somewhat disorienting unless you’re very familiar with the site’s features
