2024 Elections | Anti-GBVF law welcomed: Cassandra Dorasamy
Today, President Cyril Ramaphosa signed a new bill that seeks to root out gender-based violence and growing femicide in the country. The bill on the eve of elections goes to the heart of one of the most vicious crimes prevailing in society. President Ramaphosa signed the bill at the Union Building in Pretoria. Campaigner for Amnesty International Cassandra Dorasamy joins us for more on this.
