PC Watercooling: Leak Testing with Air 01 [Parts & Demonstration]

An easy way to leak test PC watercooling components without wasting hours doing it the old way by running water through the system, and just waiting for a leak to occur.

Parts:
---------------------
Schrader Valve NPT 1/4"
30 PSI Pressure Gauge NPT 1/4"
Bitspower Extender (10-50mm) x2
Handheld Air Pump

You can also use a floor pump if you'd like, but using a small handheld pump allows me to more easily store these things in a box when I'm not using them. I would imagine you could also use an air compressor if you have one, but the rate at which air is pumped into the system may adversely affect something (? -- I'm not really sure).

The Bitspower extenders use a BSP (G 1/4") thread, which is not NPT, and it is why I had to epoxy the pieces together (I talk about this in the video). You might also be able to use thread tape, but I prefer a more permanent solution, because if my system isn't holding air, I don't want to be left wondering if my thread tape is the cause of the leak.
