In this machine learning and large language model (LLM) tutorial, we explain how to install and run locally LLMs by using the LM Studio and LM Studio GUI. We first explain how to install the LM Studio program on Windows, and then we explain how to automatically and manually download and run different models of LLMs (Mistral and DeepSeek-R1). We explain how to manually download the GGUF files of LLMs and run them in LM Studio.
