Prince Harry, Meghan Taste Food Made by Former Residents of District Six
Britain's Prince Harry and his wife Meghan were treated to a cooking demonstration of South African food, Monday, September 23, at a museum which honors families displaced during apartheid.
The royal couple arrived holding hands to the Homecoming Center of the District Six Museum, after greeting and shaking hands with locals who had waited to catch a glimpse of the pair.
Harry and Meghan sampled the local cuisine made by former residents of District Six, at a church-turned-museum which honors thousands of families forcibly removed during the apartheid era after the area, adjacent to the Cape Town business district, was declared whites-only in 1966, and bulldozers moved in to demolish homes.
