"After a decent layover in Wendover, its 1 train in an all out blitzkrieg thru the American West to Missoula. Up thru the coal mine district at Orin Jct, then darkness thru Gilette and sheridan. The sun comes up over eastern Montana on the Big Horn subdivision. Laurel, Livingston then into the mountains at quick speed to Helena and Missoula"

"The trip is going well enough, I am in Raleigh NC at the moment and about to head north to Nyc

Plan is to utilize CSX from Rocky mount

Trip has covered a lot of ground. Beginning in Minneapolis, have been to Superior WI, Stevens Point WI, Green Bay, Gladstone MI, Sault Ste marie mi, Detroit, Indianapolis again, Cleveland, Mansfield OH, Bellevue OH, Decatur IL, Danville IL, Atlanta, Savannah, Columbia SC and now here

Trip is winding down. After NYC its time to head west back to Colorado. There may or may not be time to go thru KC and take the Dodge City line back, this would be slow but I have always wanted to see Dodge City KS
