Canva Tutorial: How to Create Impactful Text Graphics with Hollow Effect and Bars

Today we're going to look at how to make this cool graphic. Let's jump right in.

Step 1. Change the background color to black.

Step 2. Add your text. Choose a bold font like Anton and type your word. Center it on the screen.

Step 3. Change the text color to red (or any color you like).

Step 4. Duplicate the text layer and line it up with the original.

Step 5. Select the duplicated text, go to Effects, choose Hollow, and set the thickness to zero.

Step 6. Go to Elements and add a rectangle shape. Resize it to a thin bar across the design. Change its color to black.

Step 7. Duplicate the rectangle and place a second bar at the bottom.

Step 8. Adjust layer order: bring the hollow text to the top layer.

Step 9. Your impactful text graphic is complete.
