British Countryside: Britain Love Stories, Volume 3

I love visiting the British countryside. Whether it’s a drive through familiar roads of Herefordshire, Gloucestershire, Warwickshire or Worcestershire… or an adventure as far flung as the steep roads of the Scottish Highlands, tiny villages in Wales, the vast hills & valleys of the Yorkshire Dales or windswept hills with wild horses in Dartmoor, I love the countryside! I don’t always love the tiny narrow country roads when they are no wider than our rental car, and the hedgerows obscure all view of the twisty roads ahead… but the nervous driving is always worth the destination and the views along the way!

I’m an Anglophile, currently staying in Texas for the foreseeable future due to global travel restrictions during the pandemic of 2020. I’m dreaming of happy travel days in my future… and thinking about all the reasons I love Britain. My friends and subscribers suggested I share some of those things I love, so I have created this video series I’m calling “Britain Love Stories”. This video is the third installment – Volume 3. I tell you about the 4 things I like best about my fun visits “out in the country” when I’m in the UK: rolling hills and sheep, farm parks, market towns, and village churches.
