Breaking: U.S.-Venezuela tensions rise as Navy Ships, Jets spotted in Puerto Rico

Amid rising tensions between both the nations, U.S. Navy vessels & military jets were spotted on in Ponce, Puerto Rico, as U.S. military activity continued in the Caribbean. Reuters footage showed the USS Stockdale (DDG-106) and the USS Mahan (DDG-72) and military jets flying over Mercedita International Airport. The development came hours later after Trump on Dec 2 had said that America will "very soon" begin striking "bad ones" living inside Venezuela. Trump's comments during Tuesday's cabinet meeting hinted at further escalation between Washington and Caracas. Meanwhile, in the last few days US has stepped up pressure on Venezuela through strikes on drug boats and a significant military build-up in the Caribbean under "Operation Southern Spear".
