Dogs in Action! Preventing Honeybee Infection

A dog training center in New Zealand.
Among a number of hives, one is stocked with honeybee larvae which has an infectious disease, along with a ball.
By repeatedly searching for the ball, a fun game which they love, dogs are gradually trained to recognize the scent of the contagious disease, but this is difficult and takes more than a year before they can do it well.
