Matchless DC-30 EF86 – Still Clean with a Master? | No Effects

Correction:
I mistakenly labeled the tubes in the on-screen text.
The amp setup itself is unchanged, but the tube information in the captions was incorrect.

No effects. No tricks. Just real amp tone.

Matchless DC-30 – EF86channel.
Recorded at home volume, using both High and Low inputs with different volume levels.

Even with the master volume, it still stayed mostly clean.
It definitely feels easier to control compared to the 12AX7 channel.

But at the same time…
it makes me feel like I shouldn’t rely on the master too much
if I really want to experience what this amp is capable of.

Still makes me want to try it fully cranked with an attenuator.
