Jaws NES: What About Those Corners???

A recent commenter on my old Jaws Playthrough from 2013 asked if I had ever checked out the corners of the map versus staying in the "easy zones." I've always thought of this game as one of the easiest NES games of all time. Can there be heavy challenge lurking in the far corners of the map??? Let's take a look!
